Tomorrow We Walk--We're half way to our Goal

Tomorrow is the big walk.  We're excited to head into Boston and meet up with all the other teams.  We'll be sure to take pictures and write about our experience.

Bake Sale

Clarissa's Bake Sale was a huge success.  Thanks to support from many great friends who helped with baking, setting up and selling, we were able to raise over $600 toward our fundraising goal.  The weather was beautiful and Clarissa's soccer team and many friends from school all came to support her (and buy treats!).  Thanks to all who came and supported Clarissa's Crew at our bake sale.  Now we need a nap.

Our Little Hero

Clarissa was a brave little girl yesterday when she went to participate in a clinical study for a new diabetes technology.  She wasn't very excited about getting an i.v. put in, but she really wanted to do this study because she wanted to help other kids with diabetes.  She did a great job and we are really proud of her.

My JDRF Project for Tonight

This is what I've been working on tonight.  I made these two sandwich boards to advertise our bake sale locally.  Hopefully they will help us get the word out about the bake sale.  If you are a Boston person, please come and please tell others about it.  It's easy.  If someone asks you what you are doing this weekend, tell them you're going to a bake sale and send them here to get more information.
